Renovation

September 2006

Start of the gigantic renovation worth 33 million Swiss Francs:
  • Construction of a temporary road (590m long) from the main road and of a temporary bridge over the Flaz to limit construction related traffic through the village
  • Shell of 14 of the 28 new guest rooms
  • Shell of ground floor of the spacious and up-to-date spa area
  • Shell of 50 of 100 parking spaces of the underground car park

December 2006 - March 2007

  • Construction stopped for the winter and hotel was running

April 2007 - November 2007

  • Dismantling of the pavilion and the old swimming pool
  • Continuing of construction work for the additional 14 new guest rooms, spa area and underground car park 
  • Complete renovation and modernizing of the staff house and the hotel main kitchen

Beginning December 2007

  • End of the construction work
  • Reconstruction of the pavilion

13. December 2007

  • Re-opening of the hotel

June 2008

  • Completion of the garden and surroundings
