The Grand Hotel Kronenhof came into being between 1848 and 1900. The hotel of the luxury class, with an interior and exterior under preservation order, the Kronenhof belongs to the most architecturally significant hotels in the Alps.
It is situated in the heart of Pontresina, surrounded by it's own large park. The view of the Bernina glacier and the pine and larch forests from the hotel is unique. Pontresina, 1800 metres above sea-level, lies in the middle of the breathtakingly beautiful Engadine landscape, only 6 km away from chic St. Moritz.
In winter, you can enjoy 350 km of ski pistes, a 180 km wide cross-country skiing network and almost as many winter-walking paths.
In summer the Engadine offers innumerable sport- and cultural events in one of the world's most beautiful mountainous landscapes.
